The Osun Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has taken a step towards improving healthcare and education in Osogbo, Osun State, with the inauguration of a newly built health center and rehabilitated classrooms.
The health center, located at Sabo in the state capital, aims to provide essential healthcare services to the residents of the community. This facility will play a crucial role in ensuring that the residents have access to quality healthcare close to their homes, thereby improving their overall well-being.
Additionally, a block of four classrooms at Isale-Imole Community Primary School in Ilobu Irepodun Local Government Area was also inaugurated. This development aims to motivate children in the community to attend school and receive a quality education.
The initiatives were made possible through the COVID-19 Recovery and Economic Stimulus Program (Osun Cares), a World Bank intervention program aimed at supporting communities during the pandemic. The program has been instrumental in delivering much-needed amenities and assistance to the people of Osun State.
During the inauguration, the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of the residents of Osun State. Represented by the Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Hon. Ayobami Ganiyu Olaoluwa, Governor Adeleke urged the community members to utilize the health center and school facilities effectively, emphasizing that the government is dedicated to providing social amenities that will enhance the overall well-being of the people.
Mrs. Aderonke Funmi Abokede, the General Manager of the CSDA, commended Governor Adeleke for the funding and support provided to the agency. She highlighted the importance of the health center and classrooms in improving the quality of life for the community.
With the inauguration of the health center and rehabilitated classrooms, the Osun Community and Social Development Agency has taken a significant step towards promoting the development of healthcare and education in Osun State.
