Jubilation has trailed the five year service extension for public primary and secondary school teachers in Cross River by the State governor, Senator Ben Ayade
The extension was contained in a circular number 1/2023 on Thursday, which was signed by the Head of Service, Mr Timothy Akwaji

"Henceforth, Teachers in Primary and Post Primary Schools in Cross River State shall retire on attainment of Sixty-five or forty years of service, whichever comes first," it said
