During a one-day sensitisation workshop held in Bauchi, Mr. Banjo Ojo, the head of the NCC's consumer policy development and monitoring unit, highlighted the five crucial pieces of information that should never be shared with anyone - the name on your ATM card, the 16-digit card number, the 3-digit CVV number, the card's validity date, and the PIN number. Ojo reinforces that these details should not be entrusted to anyone, including family members, friends, or even POS agents.

By using the NCC network for e-transactions, individuals can benefit from added security measures and decrease the risk of falling victim to electronic fraud. The NCC believes that with the right information, Nigerians can protect themselves and their businesses from the devastating effects of e-fraud.

"These pieces of information we are sharing with you should not be taken lightly," emphasizes Ojo. "In today's digital age, we cannot trust anyone with our personal and financial details, not even our closest relatives."
