WATT Renewable Corporation to Deploy Hybrid Solar Solutions in Nigeria

WATT Renewable Corporation, a leading provider of hybrid solar solutions, has announced its plans to deploy over 32MW of solar PV and storage capacity in Nigeria. In a partnership with Airtel, Nigeria's telecommunications giant, WATT will install solar power and lithium-ion battery storage at 600 sites across the country.

This initiative is based on an Energy-as-a-Service model, where WATT will provide renewable energy solutions to Airtel. By replacing diesel generation with WATT's hybrid solar solutions, Airtel aims to enhance power supply reliability and uptime, essential for the company's expansion plans, including the introduction of 4G and 5G technologies.
