Dust emissions from sources such as roads surrounding its plants have been significantly mitigated, demonstrating the company's commitment to preserving the local environment.

Lafarge Africa conducts regular air quality measurements within a 10 km radius of its plants to ensure that emissions conform to acceptable limits. This proactive approach enables the company to identify and address any potential issues promptly.

In 2020, the company conducted a comprehensive social impact assessment at its Ewekoro plant.
