Later in the day, thunderstorms are anticipated over parts of Imo, Abia, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Ondo, Oyo, Anambra, Enugu, Edo, Delta, Lagos, Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Akwa Ibom states. This suggests a widespread occurrence of thunderstorms across the southern regions.

However, thunderstorms are expected in certain areas, including Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe, Bauchi, Kaduna, and Zamfara states. Similar weather patterns are foreseen in the North Central region, with thunderstorms anticipated in states like Niger, Kogi, Benue, Plateau, and the Federal Capital Territory.
