Oby Ezekwesili Slams APC Supporters for Conferring Constitutional Duties on Her
Former education minister, Oby Ezekwesili, expresses her frustration with All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters who have supposedly conferred the constitutional duties of Nigeria's leader onto her. She criticizes the ruling government for its failure to address the insecurity issues in the country and lambasts APC for its abysmal performance. Ezekwesili calls out the duplicity of the ruling party and its tendency to blame others while obsessing over power.

Former education minister, Oby Ezekwesili, has been on the receiving end of what she calls the "typical Modus Operandi" of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters. In a recent Twitter post, she expressed her frustration over being falsely conferred the constitutional duties of Nigeria's leader by these supporters.

Ezekwesili criticized the ruling government for its alleged failure to address the deteriorating state of insecurity in the country. She specifically targeted the South East region and other areas affected by this issue. Without the office formally handed over to her, she cannot take immediate action to tackle the problem and put the ruling party to shame for its abysmal failure.

In her scathing remarks, Ezekwesili exposed what she referred to as the duplicity of the APC and its supporters. According to her, they never take responsibility for their actions but are obsessed with attaining and retaining power.

"Such duplicity is the typical Modus Operandi of the APC folks and their Fan Club who never take responsibility for anything but suffer from an obsession to 'grab power just for the sake of power'," she wrote.

Furthermore, Ezekwesili directly challenged the ruling party and its supporters to formally hand over the office of the President to her if they are truly ready for her to take charge as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Until then, she sarcastically suggests they enjoy calling her name in vain.

These remarks highlight Ezekwesili's frustration with the APC's handling of the country's security challenges and their tendency to shift blame onto others. She firmly believes in holding those in power accountable for their actions and making tangible efforts to address pressing issues.

In related news, President Bola Tinubu made two significant appointments within his team. Olusegun Dada, a committed APC member, was appointed as the president's special assistant on social media. Another individual named Abdulaziz Abdulaziz assumed the role of special assistant on print media.

While these appointments may signal the president's efforts to enhance his media presence and engagement, they do not divert attention from the concerns raised by Ezekwesili. Rather, they serve as a reminder of the dynamic landscape of Nigerian politics and the ongoing discourse surrounding good governance and effective leadership.
