PDP Vows to Repeat 2003 Upset in Kogi State Governorship Election

The upcoming governorship election in Kogi State has sparked intense political activities, with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expressing confidence in clinching victory and repeating the historic upset of 2003. Senator Melaye invoked the biblical story of Daniel, who tamed a lion in its den, as a metaphor for his own determination to overcome challenges and bring positive change to Kogi State.

He cautioned the electorate not to be swayed by trivial incentives, highlighting the government's failure to provide good governance over the past eight years. Senator Melaye emphasized that his leadership would transcend tribal, religious, and ethnic divides, emphasizing his commitment to providing the much-needed leadership the state desperately needs.
