Kogi State Commissioner Declares Opposition Parties Have No Chance in Governorship Election
Kingsley Fanwo, the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, has confidently declared that opposition parties stand no chance in the forthcoming governorship election due to the outstanding achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello. The Commissioner asserts that the opposition knows the truth but refuses to acknowledge it, reiterating that their claims are baseless. He also dismisses allegations that Gov. Bello is implementing policies hindering the opposition, stating that the parties are merely resistant to the progress and development initiated by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Lagos - With the Kogi State governorship election on the horizon, Kingsley Fanwo, Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, has boldly stated that opposition parties have no chance in the upcoming election. The Commissioner confidently claims that Governor Yahaya Bello's remarkable achievements have dismantled the opposition and that the people will continue to embrace a system that delivers results.

Fanwo, in an interview with Daily Independent, stated, "The opposition parties know the truth but don't want to admit it. They have no place in our state. The accomplishments of Alh. Yahaya Bello have completely taken the wind out of their sails, and the people will continue to align with a government that performs."

Furthermore, Fanwo highlighted the electoral successes of the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasizing that the opposition parties have suffered defeat in previous elections. He revealed that many opposition leaders have recognized the exceptional governance of Governor Bello and have defected to the APC.

"We expect them to feel hurt because when all the soldiers have abandoned the commander, the battle is already decided," Fanwo added confidently.

Addressing the allegations made by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) that Governor Bello is implementing policies aimed at depriving opposition parties of a level playing ground in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, Fanwo dismissed their assertions.

"They complain because they know they have lost. As for the signage law, it is what it is. It is a law that everyone must obey. Our party, the APC, is already compliant. Nobody is above the law," Fanwo declared.

Fanwo continued, "The PDP doesn't approve of the law. They thrive in a state of lawlessness. Before the law was passed, they had the opportunity to engage in the processes leading up to its passage, but they chose not to."

Highlighting the PDP's lack of awareness regarding current developments in the state, Fanwo claimed the opposition party only wakes up from its political slumber every four years. He concluded, "It is unfortunate."
