He further emphasized that the reappointment of Major General Paul Tarfa, Goni Mohammed Alkali, and other executive directors was in line with the existing laws governing the commission.
According to Alhaji Salihu Magaji, the hue and cry from certain quarters regarding the reappointment of the NEDC Board Members was unnecessary and mischievous. He stated that their appointment was meritorious and in consonance with the laws of the commission. He also clarified that there is no law prohibiting the reappointment of board members to the same position.
