Transfer: Nigerian forward pens new contract with German club, Eintracht Braunschweig

Nigeria forward, Anthony Ujah has signed a new one-year contract with German Bundesliga 2 club, Eintracht Braunschweig

Ujah linked up with Braunschweig last summer after severing ties with Union Berlin

The 32-year-old impressed on his maiden campaign with the modest club despite an injury-ravaged season with Union Berlin last term

The striker scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 29 appearances in the 2022/23 season

Ujah, who was capped seven times by Nigeria, was elated to extend his stay at the club

"I'm very grateful to Eintracht for giving me the opportunity to enjoy football again
