Ukomu Igala Organisation Hails Tinubu for Nomination of Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as Minister

Lagos, Nigeria - The Ukomu Igala Organisation (UIO), the apex socio-cultural organization representing the Igala ethnic nationalities, has extended its appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as a minister. The nomination holds immense significance for the Igala people and the Abubakar Audu political Dynasty in Kogi State.

The Lagos branch of the UIO issued a statement expressing gratitude towards President Tinubu for remembering the late Prince Abubakar Audu, who was poised for electoral victory in the 2015 governorship election before his untimely demise. The statement, jointly signed by Sir James Opaluwa and Chief Abubakar Agene, the State Chairman and Secretary, respectively, appeals to all Igala and Kogi State indigenes to unite and support Alhaji Abubakar Audu during his tenure as a minister.

The Ukomu Igala Organisation acknowledges the commendable actions of Governor Yahaya Bello for recommending Alhaji Shuaibu Audu, which led to his nomination by President Tinubu. The group believes that this appointment is well-deserved, considering the achievements of the late Prince Audu and the impressive resume of his son, Alhaji Shuaibu Audu, the ministerial nominee.

With Alhaji Shuaibu Audu's appointment, the Abubakar Audu political Dynasty is revitalized, bringing renewed hope to the Igala people after the loss of their prominent leader, Prince Audu. The Ukomu Igala Organisation sees this nomination as a positive step towards preserving the legacy of Prince Audu and ensuring continued representation and advancement for the Igala ethnic nationalities.

The Ogbonicha World Vanguard, a socio-political organization representing the people of Ofu Local Government in Kogi State, also congratulated Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu on his emergence as a ministerial nominee and his subsequent successful screening by the Senate. The Vanguard expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for considering the Prince Abubakar Audu Dynasty in his administration's plans.

The late Abubakar Audu, described as a political bulldozer, was on the verge of becoming the elected governor of Kogi State but sadly passed away, leading to the emergence of Yahaya Bello as the state governor. The Ogbonicha World Vanguard acknowledges President Tinubu's recognition of their son's capabilities and accomplishments, and they are grateful for the honor bestowed upon the late political icon, Prince Abubakar Audu, also known as the Aduoja Attah of Igala Kingdom.
