The Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) has cautioned the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) against the recent increase in the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) and warned that it will hinder the growth of businesses in the country. NECA's Director-General, Mr. Adewale-Smatt Oyerinde, advised the CBN to focus on addressing the structural drivers of inflation rather than tightening the monetary policy stance.
