Former President Jonathan advocates for closer collaboration between academia and industry to enhance employability of graduates in Africa+30

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has called for closer collaboration between academia and industry to foster industrialization, economic growth, and enhance the employability of university graduates in Africa. He emphasized the need for educational programs that align with the current job market and enable students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Jonathan made these remarks during the 12th graduation ceremony of Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) where he serves as the chancellor. He urged graduating students to utilize their knowledge and skills to drive positive change in their respective countries.
